Ned and Olive compete in a Food Cook-Off competition where Ned revives Colonel Likkin who was somehow fried to death. Colonel Likkin tells him that somebody stole his world-famous recipe and that he has to find it. Also, by tricking Ned, Chuck saves her father and feels guilty after doing it.

Emerson is hired by a wife of a murder Chinese chef, Bao Di, to try and solve his case. Olive tries to find more evidence by going undercover into the Chinese restaurant where the victim used to work and Ned suddenly meets a man who says that he is somehow related to him in the past.
